Our Company Heritage
In 1972, Don Weld Plumbing was founded by Don Weld Sr., a hardworking father and craftsman plumber, out of a love to serve the people around him. As his family grew, so did his business. His sons, who from young ages sorted plumbing parts and begged to skip school to help their dad on the job, became licensed plumbers themselves. Soon after, Weld & Sons Plumbing was established.
Today, our company extends into the third generation. But our Weld & Sons Plumbing Family now also includes top-notch plumbers and office staff, many of whom have been with us for more than two decades. Currently, only one-third of family businesses survive the handoff to their children. We humbly attribute our company’s success to a Christian heritage fixed on our faith in and service to God, who teaches us to put others first and do our best work. Read our Core Values to see how Weld & Sounds Plumbing applies these principles to serve our customers, suppliers, and fellow co-workers.
Don Weld Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, are the grateful owners of Weld & Sons Plumbing. And while their hard work and attention to detail have helped drive the business forward, it continues to be that same love for people that motivates them. They are thankful for each customer, co-worker, and partner that gives a deeper purpose to their work. (The only people that may top that list is the fourth generation: their nine grandkids!)
